motherboard 1600(O.C.)

I was curious as to what is exactly meant by this, I have this motherboard ASUS M4A785TD-V with 4 sticks of this 1600 ram , what exactly should I overclock to run it properly at the rated speeds? I already went into my bios and changed the speed to 800 as well as put in the proper timing values, I wanted to know if there was more to it that though

nope, it's that simple. Check with a program like CPU-Z to see if the memory is indeed running at the speed and timings you set

Don't forget to run something like OCCT, Intel Burn Test, or Prime 95 to make sure it's stable.

It means that while most of the chips you use will run a 1066 or 1333 FSB with the ram at 533, 667,800. That means while not all of those components may be rated at those speeds the motherboard, FSB and north bridge giving you extra head room for overclocking . I assume your running an am2 or 3 or socket 775?

yea im on am3, and wow that was really simple, so simple I thought there might of been more to it lol, but yea CPU-Z is recording the right speeds and everything is stable as a rock
