Speedway Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 (edited) This card is a beast! ASUS Customer Service ftw The fan on my 5970 went out, so they sent me this, ASUS wasn't playing around at all with this cooler. I hope it performs as well as it looks Will need some help from the air-cooled GTX 580 club to compare clocks and temps. Maybe find a decent OC and everyone set those clocks and run furmark and compare temps to see if this triple slot direct CU dual fan cooler can live up to the hype Edited March 12, 2011 by SpeedwayNative

Boinker Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 Hey Speedway. Put that next to another card so we can compare and post some pic if you can.
bp9801 Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 I like how even with it taking up three slots, it still has two SLI fingers up top. Get it installed yet and run any tests? See how it compares to your old 5970?

olokul Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 my 480's were 3 slot cards, i got lucky and the r3e board uses slot 1&3 for sli. everything i read was the 3 slot crads run a little cooler then the 2 slots on the 480's im guessing the same will be with the 580. sparkel also has a 3 slot 580 out now as well
