HarryTaco Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Cloud computing (and gaming) seems like an amazing idea, but I just can't shake the notion that it is going to stifle technological advancement in the long run. Cloud is the future of, man! For everything!! Skynet here we come.most are to young to get it...but yep...didn't it become sentient at 6 cores ? or was it 8 ?So AMD with all their cores will bring us down? Its not the cores so much as to what they will do with it. That was my Poke at d6bmg's comment. We now will have drones cruising our neighborhoods, peeking in windows, and the myriad of three letter agencies stuffing themselves on populace info.
