Combfoot Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 current setup is a i7 930 setup with a 5870, running on a 850Wpsu. but im looking at swapping out my chipset to get a 1155 socket and a 2600k, and selling off the 850W and drop down to a more efficient 750W. so my setup would be: cpu: 2600k, with my thermaltake venemous x cooler off the 930 mobo: asus p67 deluxe gpu: 5870 hdd: 500gb + 1tb WD black. might even buy a OCZ vertex 2 60gb ssd if i get profit from selling 850W =P RAM: using 2 of my 2gb G-skill Pi series ram, and keeping the third from my old setup as spare ( ive had a history of memory failing) case: nzxt tempest, full of nexus real silent and xigmatec fans (white) OS: windows 7 home premium 64bit psu: xfx core pro 750W psu... which im planning to buy anyway! but would be great to save the money, im just beginning uni!
