wevsspot Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 (edited) UPDATE: As the new topic description indicates the motherboard and cpu have been sold to IVY. After a real gut wrenching decision I've decided to keep my MSI board and sell my Asus board. I've had this Asus P6TD Deluxe for about a year now and it is one of the most solid x58 boards I've ever owned. CPU and motherboard are the same two that benched at 4.51Ghz (water cooled) for the 3DMark06 competition. However 24/7 operation has been at 3.4 to 3.6Ghz @ 1.26v under water since the day I bought the pair. Motherboard - $160 + free shipping in the Continental US CPU - $160 + free shipping in the Continental US I'd prefer to sell both together so if someone wants the pair I'll sell the combo for $300 and free shipping in the Continental US I'll get individual pics up when I get home this evening. But you can see the board and cpu both in the MSI Big Bang Contest and my Lancool Storm Trooper case mod project threads here at OCC. dr_bowtie Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 why does the "you're going to be sorry for doing this" come to mind? Just a note. Wev's is a great seller. done many deals. some buying, selling and even some trades. all very good...snap this up before he changes his mind! (which he does ALOT)
SpeedCrazy Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 why does the "you're going to be sorry for doing this" come to mind? Tell him about it. I have been telling him that since the first thread about keeping or chucking it. Btw wev, point of interest for potential buyers, does the stock cooling solution come with the 920? wevsspot Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 Btw wev, point of interest for potential buyers, does the stock cooling solution come with the 920? It can if the buyer wants it. I've still got the retail box and the oem fan (which is a piece of junk by the way). But if you want it I'll be happy to ship it I'd just as soon leave the cpu in the socket if someone buys the combo though.

wevsspot Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 Pics as promised. Sorry for the delay Core i7 920 Asus P6TD Deluxe Motherboard comes with original retail box, three SATA cables, back I/O, VRM fan, a couple ribbon cables and owners manual. For some reason I can't find the install CD but all drivers and utilities can be downloaded directly from Asus support site. If you want the original Intel cpu fan/heatsink let me know.
