In adition to the "what processor", you might want to also tell us what type of cooler you are looking for.... There are two kind of best...

Best silent cooler.
Best cooling cooler.

i would say get the SLK-900a heatsink for yah AMD ..or P4..or ..just a volcano 11 or 12 ..which is very good...

My SP-94 is coming tomorrow :D

Any Thermalright heatsink is good. I love my SLK-900A.

I would get a SP-97 with a 92MM Tornado for an AMD, or a SP-94 with a 92MM Tornado for an Intel. This would be my choice if noise wasn't an issue. Silent...well...I'm not sure, I never have been the silent type :D

sp-97 and 94 have beatent the slk-900a an u for better cooling but the price is signifigantly higher.
Asus A7N8X Deluxe with a 2500 Barton @ 12x167 = 2.01ghz

Hey, quick question..... Has anyone tried the copper heatsink from ocsystem.com??? I was wondering because it is a solid copper block and only 7 bucks.... Just wondering =)
