AMDXFire Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 I built a gaming computer more than 2 months ago, and here are the specs: Amd Phenom 2 x4 925 @ 2.8GHZ Stock MSI 770-G45 (dual pciX2.0, crossfire Compatible) Mushkin Enhanced 8GB DDR3 1333mhz 2 DIMM Seagate Barracude 1000GB HDD 7200rpm LiteOn 24X DVD Writer EVGA GTX 460 Superclocked ED. Alpine 64 Pro Rev.2 CPU Cooler Apex Vortex 3620 Midtower Case W/2 120mm fans @800rpm 2 Coolermaster 120mm Red LED Fans (Side) OCZ StealthXtreme 2 600 Watt PSU Standard Stereo Sub woofers LOgitech Classic Keyboard 800 DPI Mouse 23 " ASUS MS236 (full HD, Ultra slim ,2ms monitor) This was all built for around $890 before taxes and rebates, without the rebates. I used to have a thermaltake V3 black ED Case, and a stock cpu cooler With the recent case, and fan upgrade, the price would be probably around $840 Canadian Before Taxes What do you think? Is it worth the price?

IVIYTH0S Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Sounds about what it should all cost. Should perform well for the task, I built a similar system except it was an athlon quad and it was great. Overclock that 925!!
