I know what you're talking about , I saw that thread too , Im 15 and it was inappropriate. Theres a button on the bottom left of each post saying "Report" and it will report the post and gives a link to the moderators so they can follow the link to the thread . Theres been a lot of spam and I've seen two spams of "inappropriatness" , all we can do is report it . The mods do their best to get rid of spam,etc but they are not always on and there are sometimes big intervals between when mods come on and thats when the spam arrives and tries to attract views until the mods get rid of it. Yeah I see the button my contrast is way to high...Couldn't the make a delay in the time where you can post pictures like 2 weeks after you registered or something since most spammers make their account for spamming or make 5 useful comments in the forums? Wasn't expecting to see such things on this website... *EDIT* Did they remove that thread? Could the people who manage this website block the ISP's numbers to prevent further spamming? Wasn't expecting to see such things on this website Lol @ useful comments Once the admins come on they'll be able to answer if you can only post pics after 2 weeks but I dont think it will work since newbies may need help about an error code or bios help and they wont be able to post a pic showing the problem. Edit: Yes it was removed as soon as the mods came on . If there were more mods appointed then it would've been removed a bit sooner. The admins should be able to block IP's to my knowledge as thats how people are banned. I agree with more moderators but new ones shouldn't be able to remove threads like that (like they can close down the forum until it gets approved to remove it), they should have a supervisor for the first couple of weeks or something so he/she doesn't go on a rampage. I agree , I've reported a lot of spam too . Theres been tons of it and Im sure its from one IP address since the Folding@home team number that the spammers put in their profile is exactly the same. You guys do a fantastic job keeping the forums cleaned! The 2 week picture posting thing; is something that Bosco would have to do! Even specific sign up and posting rules get broken down by the spam bots eventually. It's a never ending cat and mouse game of modding the forum to stop spam and the spammers getting around it. I'm waiting for the technology so that I can digitize myself, and travel through the net to the programmer who made the spambot. I'd then undigitize myself and beat the crap out of the douche. Spamming has increase a lot and its not just us its across the net. We always have bursts every year. If you see spam hit the report button and we all get a message and one of us will delete it.
