Hello guys,

Lately I have changed my CPU fan profile to Performance and now the temperature of CPU is 40 Celsius at idle and 69 deg. Celsius under load. Are these safe temps? The CPU is Phenom x4 955 with stock speed, C&Q enabled, fan is also stock.

Your load temps are a bit high. Generally keep under 60 degrees C. Something isn't right if it has these temps at stock even with the stock cooler.

at stock timings that is not a good load temperature

exactly what did you do and why they hell would you do that

if the CPU fan is bothering you they have medication for that

but I recommend you buy an aftermarket cooler like a hyper 212+

you can use that and wont have to mess with anything you shouldnt be touching and the noise will go away

just to note, your temperatures are not dangerous

you can run it like that if you wish

however, most likely you did not run it on load long enough

as when it gets heat soaked the temperature will go up more and that is bad if you leave it unattended
