dario_92 Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 i bought this to replace my stock intel cooler and it already came with pre-applied thermal paste. it has not brought my temps down by any means it still idles at 39c ? is there any way to bring them down or will it not effect my temps ? Looks like that cooler really doesn't do much. OCFreak Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 I had this cooler on my X2 555 a while back and it brought me down about 12 degrees under load. I removed the thermal paste and installed it with OCZ Freeze instead. That may have been the difference. I like the cooler, and for $29 you can't go wrong.
