El_Capitan Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Yes, I know the overclocks aren't as great as some. Still, losing or barely beating a HD 7850 in performance for a card that's 35% cheaper is a bit worrisome.

Still, i am happy with my card, runs cool, quiet and fast. Beats the 580 it replaced in every aspect

Probably can't say the same for a GTX 670 or 680. Pretty much a battle between the GTX 660 / 660 TI and the HD 7850 / 7870 for silent and cool operation while max overclocked on a single-slot cooler while playing at 1080P resolution. Only downer is the price.

Nyt Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 The HD 7850 keeps up in 3DMark11, but kills the GTX 660 Ti in Unigine Heaven The HD 7850 will probably kill the 660 Ti in 3D Mark 11 Extreme too since the only reason the 660 Ti does well is because the crappy "Performance" preset resolution doesn't really stress the 192bit interface...
