CPU Usage always 100%

I don't understand, how could you press cntrl+alt+delete to open the task manager and not see prime 95 running?

I think you should try booting to Safe mode too

Wow, I figured it out. When I first built the PC up I ran Prime95 for a while to test things out. It's been running ever since. I thought for sure I closed it...lol

Don't think because you solved the problem that you are off the hook and this thread is over

there is still plenty of diagnosing to be done

has the problem reoccurred yet? it could be signs of a failing motherboard.
