5870 or gtx470

Keep your 5870. The GTX 470 is going to be replaced by the GTX 570 soon (which will beat the GTX 480), and the GTX 560, also (which will probably perform between the GTX 480 and GTX 470).

That motherboard doesn't seem to specify that it supports SLI. The HD 5870's a better card than the GTX 470, anyway.

the 470 even had trouble beating my old 5850s...although they were factory oc'd.. but still.. only worthy upgrade to 5870 is 480 onwards...

I went from 5850 to GTX470 and there wasn't much of a difference besides the 32xCSAA in games. BTW , since you have eyefinity you would need two nvidia cards .

And once again, it will take down an HD 5870 overclocked. If you buy a GTX 470 and use it just stock your pretty stupid, no lie. The cards are wasted if you don't OC them. OC them and you get great performance.

It will also take down a power grid  but in all seriousness using any card stock (that can OC) is pretty stupid, I wish my 4870x2 could overclock
