Fatedmeeting Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 It means your oc is not stable(i think) how many hours of prime and heavy games did you do before declaring it 'stable'? Mine i ran 3d mark 06 backto back for a couple hours and prime for 12 hours. And FAH for 3 weeks solid now. I don't even bother with Prime, it can often run without issues for hours, when a demanding application/game could make it crash within minutes. I just use linpack based tests @all available ram nowadays.
SpeedCrazy Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 I know that prime cannot discover all problems but that is why i run every test i can. No benchmark is perfect.

Fatedmeeting Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 (edited) Linpack isn't a guarantee of stability (though it is a good one) on its own - no single program is. I know it isn't, but when ran on their own, it's given me results where Prime failed completely. It just strange to me the way so many people mention prime stable. Running Prime with small FFT along with Intelburntest on all the available ram is probably best.
