Recommended Posts

If you are tired of the bottleneck imposed by the SATA interface and want the best performance from a bootable SSD, then check out the OCZ RevoDrive 50GB PCI Express SSD - http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/ocz_revodrive_50gb/

Insert "Robocop" one liner here: "I'd buy that for a dollar!"

Well... at the most, $1.50 per GB. $220 for 50GB and no TRIM!

Thanks for a great review! I have had my eye on these for a few months and will likely be moving to them down the road when I can afford an upgrade. My 2 34GB SSD's just aren't big enough anymore. I figure the 256GB version of this card should suffice.

It is a beast of a card and will only get better, OCZ announced the RevoDrive 2 the other day which has better speeds and higher capacities, I am interested to see how they compare but I can tell you I am in love with this drive. :)

RevoDrive x2. Not bad for a single slot solution. I did this bench with the drive in a P6T Deluxe using an IBIS as the boot drive.

Nice, The RevoDrive2 is aimed at the same performance level as the IBIS.
