On Stalker Call or Pripyat, "Preset" should be "Ultra"?

 

Also, Advanced Options:

MSAA only goes up to 4x for me

MSAA for A-tested objects should be Off?

SSAO Mode should be Disabled?

Enable tessellation only?

 

Yes , lets set the preset to Ultra

I was just guessing about the AA , lets do it at 4x

Im not sure about AA for A-tested objects so lets put it on DX10 standard

Space Screen Ambiant Occlusion be enabled on HDAO

SSAO quality should be high and not ultra

And yes only tessellation

Well, there we have it folks, the Dual GTX 460 1GB SLI overclocked got walloped by the overclocked HD 5970 2GB! There wasn't a doubt in my mind.

You guys should do a good old Crysis benchmark as I think Stalker favors ATI cards.

Def need to add the Crysis bench in this! It's only the epitome of games! I mean when I'm explaining the graphics power of my PC, I just state it in fps in Crysis, this pretty much sums up how BA your comp is

 

Also, I want to mix it up we need to make this thread for anyone who wants to participate! I would also throw in 3dMark 06 and Vantage Who wants to battle?

I do have an old copy of Crysis, but not Warhead. Ugh, 3dMark 06 and Vantage? So many benches!

 

I agree, more people should duel! I'd like to see a 5870 crossfire vs the 5970, or a dual GTX 480 in SLI in the mix, too.

But, I do know that for some reason Kombuster favors ATI in a HUGE way! If you are including this in the duels, then there is almost no way that an Nvidia system can win! I would take Kombustor out. I know that Furmark favors Nvida, but it is nowhere near as lopsided as the reverse on Kombustor!

 

Take it out, will make for better comp
