Well... I would think that ALL files have an extension, don't they? So my best guess is yes.

I don't believe so. In Unix you can just create a file using touch and don't have to specify an extension. You may not be able to open it with everything, but you can with vi.

It's going great now. This thread is kind of old news, though. :P

 

As of now, I'm re-reading my notes and PowerPoint slides from class as well as my textbook to study for my Final Exam on December 15.
