Speedway Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 I have my 240mm rad internally mounted in my Antec 1200, which is a great case, especially for airflow! But, I would also not consider it portable I do however still love it!
Drdeath Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 Zalman GS1000 is a real sophisticated looking case for an office. I modded my side in third pic....
wevsspot Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 That's a great looking case DRD. Did you do your own cut on the side panel? Where are you hiding the rad and pump for your w/c?
crazy8s846 Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 (edited) Maybe you should look into something like this, get a mini atx, like the Asus rampage 2 gene, ive seen these cases or some like it watercooled. I think if i ever build another computer it will be a mini, they work just as good as a full tower, and easy to move around. I think i would just like the challenge of building it and water cooling it. Edited September 17, 2010 by crazy8s846

That zalman is nice, i like it better than most rectangular metal boxes that i see people putting there parts in, and saying its sleek. Nice case. Drdeath Posted September 18, 2010 Posted September 18, 2010 (edited) That's a great looking case DRD. Did you do your own cut on the side panel? Where are you hiding the rad and pump for your w/c? In my novice days, I ran that Thermaltake tower in the backgound I got for $60. It is no longer used as I have cutom cooling and a tech station...... I did cut the side panel and added Plexi window.....here is new setup sry to hijack! Edited September 18, 2010 by Drdeath

Waco Posted September 18, 2010 Posted September 18, 2010 if u get a system like a h50 or h70 or something similar then u wont have a issue moving it but if u have a custom system u will get leaks if your not careful when you move it . Why would you say that? I'd be a hell of a lot more comfortable moving a rig with a custom watercooling loop in it than a rig with a bunch of oversized heatsinks stressing the motherboard. A custom loop isn't any more likely to leak than a pre-built sealed system as long as it's set up properly...
k1e1v1i1n Posted September 18, 2010 Posted September 18, 2010 maybe 1 u set up but not a nub . at least a prebuilt is tested . how do u know hes not a really bad builder and it will leak if he moves it or not. i rember beeing a noob and having leaks

visagepoissons Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 I don't intend to do it badly. I plan on researching and testing the hell out of it and making sure that every part of it is put together and is working flawlessly.
