i got it on my iphone a month or two ago

it's Ok

I think I might want to try to replay an old school FF game next

yeah, played the lite version on the iPhone. It's cool, but simply a ripoff of games available for free both on the iPhone and on the Internet, so I'm not buying it.

hmmm, it's the #1 paid app in like 20-30 countries... so i'd say it's pretty successful for being a "ripoff"

no but i'm saying this isn't some stupid fart app or something. Obviously it's a quality game that it's ranked #1 in so many countries and it's average rating on itunes is 4.88/5

 

that's pretty damn good. so obviously you're in the minority for not liking it

I didn't say I didn't like it - I said it was a cool game. It's very polished and "cute", and the star system (while found in many iPhone apps) gives you something to strive for.

 

And when they decide to have a free weekend, i will snatch it up

ya that's great, but the graphics are terrible and it isn't as polished. Just because the concept doesn't exist, doesn't mean that somebody else can take it and create a superior product

Also, the physics on that kongregate game are whack. I played all the way through and it eventually got to point where I had to look up a guide for it on the last two levels, still it was kind of fun. The bird game does look better though, I'm not sure if I personally would buy it though, really depends on the price for me, on top of that I don't even have a cell phone.
