AMD/ NVidia conflicts?

Recommended Posts

I am buying parts to build a new PC and am going with an AM3 board, AMD CPU & chipset and Saphire 5770 HD gfx card. But Ill have to put off ordering the 5770 card for a month or a little longer. I was planning on using a 9500GT 1GB gfx card till I can afford the 5770.

I know I had read about conflicts in the past when people used an Nvidia based gfx card with AMD chipset and vice-versa but I think I saw somewhere these problems dont really happen anymore. Most recent thing I could find on the web was from 2+ years ago and I was wondering if anyone had any answers on the subject?
