How to Post Pictures

How do I post good quality small pictures here. I tried a few stuff but can not seem to get it right. I take good high quality pictures but they too big, then I resize them but then they come up blurry. I have seen folks here posting small (thumbnails) I think then you hit on the picture and they expand to great quality, how can I do that?

What you want to do is use a hosting site (such as IMAGESHACK) that will automatically make a thumbnail that you can click on.

Ok, will change to that, I was using Photobucket but see no option for thumbnails. thanks for the info.

I figured out where the Image Thumbnails are for Photobucket. You have to click on the image then click on Image Thumb.

 

Imageshack works fine, but for images I want to keep I usually throw them up on Photobucket instead. I use Imageshack for when I'm to lazy to type my log information and its just a quick picture/screenshot of something I'm not gonna save for long term.

Ahhhh, finally got it, just have to attach the file, but have to make sure when I take the snapshot is not too big but good quality.

if you take a screenshot with the "Prt Scrn" button use Paint.net and save it as an 8-bit pic to save an enormous amount of space

Tried it to no avail my prt scr shots are over 1900x1000 and did not know how to save as 8 bit. Nice little program though.

It seems like MOST (if not all) links from here are doing that to me lately.

 

EDIT: I've isolated it to the forums, and its happened on two different machines (W7 and OSX even). Did the URL coding get changed maybe?
