AvivCh Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 i had just sold my e8400+p5q pro +4GB OCZ 1066 reaper +freezer 7 LP i want to buy new cpu,board,memory and i had some conflicts what to get amd 955 or 965be or i5 750'....i saw the i5 pass the 965be in almost all tests bencmarks the System is HTPC connected to samsung lcd 42" FHD the system is for gaming mostly and blueray rips 1080p.... vitual machines sometimes for testings servers the other parts i have: W.D 1TB 32 MB blue caviar Enermax modu 525w Vapor-x 5770 ( going to add another one) which cpu u recomended to get acording to those requirements? 10x Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
joel.monteiro Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 Get the 1055T and ASUS Crosshair IV Formula or GIGABYTE GA-890FXA-UD5, Since ur going crossfire latter going for the i5 750 is a bad idea,the P55 chipset does not support crossfire @x16\x16,1055T is more future proof and for the rams get these G.SKILL Ripjaws.
