Jiv Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 (edited) Hi guys, this is my current loop CPU Block: Apogee GT Res: MCRES Micro Revision 2 Rad: MCR-220 Pump: MCP655 Fans: 1x thermaltake fan Tube: not sure- something totally different. 1x Flow Meter Cpu: i7 920 C0 -oced to 3.4ghz (170x20) Temps idle: 47 Ambient: +- 5 degrees I'm planning to upgrade the following parts 1) Radiator - RX360 - RX480. (The RX480 is about 35 dollars more and should give me more headroom, hence leaning towards it.) 2) Fan Controller- Used to have a Sunbeam Rheobus but it just died one day. Need help picking one from http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=9_511 . So far leaning towards the NesteQ FanMax but not sure how it stacks up compared to the Sunbeam Rheobus/ Zalman. Does it have enough power to power a ultra kaze 3000rpm or about 2 Gentle Typhoons per channe?? 3) Fans- Planning to go 4x Gentle Typhoons. 4) Cpu block- Not sure about this, since I might go into TEC cooling. Thanks guys. Jiv Your waterblock is not the best but decent. Throw a trip 120mm rad and 3 fans and your good to go. A quad 120mm wad won't do any better.
