aah shoot i got here too late! D: but its okay because you decided to keep the 4870x2 which is what i would have suggested just hold up and see what the ATI 6XXX Series comes up with.. its only what? a few months away now?

Yeah I hopin they're stronger and smaller (and hopefully more efficient, though I'll be happy as long as they aren't 480s)

 

Wouldn't it be funny if the crown that the GTX 460 now has was stripped away only a few months after its release? I think I'd be laughing.

Not for nvidia I still find it hilarious that they took the "crown" away from the 465 with their own card though. I'm still lol'n about that

The only reason the GTX 460 wins in DirectX11 is because of tesselation. The 4870X2 will pretty much rape a GTX 460. If you're also looking at power consumption, it offers better performance per watt. TBH, you should use the 4870X2 and the GTX 460 for PhysX.
