IVIYTH0S Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 early reviews look great. i'll reserve full judgement till i see occ's and guru 3d's reviews. i'm interested to see how pricing will be here because you can get a 5770 for between $180-220 and the gtx465 is around the price of the 5850 both around $340-380 5770 not $180 465 not $
CowKing Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 seems the 460 is within 10-20 watts of the 5850 http://benchmarkreviews.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=558&Itemid=72&limit=1&limitstart=

Bosco Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Hey Bosco, who is doing the 460 review anyways? Frank and Mark will both be doing one.
smduff Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 From what I have read it looks like these 460's out perform the 465's for less money Nivia might have got it right this time around.
Krieg1337 Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Review at HardOCP Looks pretty good, really worth it. But now Nvidia needs to get a card that costs about the same/less than the HD5850/5870 that can outperform them! Nvidia is making a comeback

hermes09 Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 Waiting review from OCC Reviewers. already read review from others, none of them review it's SLI capabilities, hope here does
damian Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 Tech Report made a comment on the 460, something like, this card is the new 8800gt of it's time. I'm willing to bet this is true in the coming weeks. Also I'm really impressed with the power consumption, noise, and temperatures with this card (I've only read Tech Reports so I'm not sure if there are other models and how they perform) I was short of expecting it to be another big failure like its big brothers in theses categories. bp9801 Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 We going to until one company sent a card to Mark instead of Frank so there went our SLI testing I wondered why both of them were doing the review.. gotta love that snafu. Everything I've read so far seems to point to the GTX 460 being a solid performer with great OC'ing ability. Seems the GTX 465 is the odd man out.. bilcliff Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 5770 not $180 465 not $340 I'm not in america or canada so no newegg for me. the prices i listed were the cheapest you can get them in AUD EDIT: this is the only place i've found so far and there's quite a large price discrepancy. i do like the name of the "Goes Like Hell Edition" but i hardly see it being worth it.
