need help fast

Hey guys, tomorrow I'm going to shop, and hopefully I''ll buy a new graphics card, because now I'm sitting on my motherboards integrated one.

I had Asus HD 5770 CuCore for some time and performance wise it was epic, but the noise it was producing it was just insane, I couldn't hear my self think. So I don't want that to happen ever again ;D

Allso i don't wanna go over ~900LT >>> 330USD (note that prices from my shop are different like from newegg).

So I'm thinkin' about XFX 5850 http://www.kilobaitas.lt/PCI-E_16x/XFX/XFX_HD5850_PCI-E_725M_1GB_ALIE/HD-585X-ZAFV/CatalogStoreDetail.aspx?CatID=PL_433&ID=327062

I'm just scared because it's has a non reference design. And it may be loud. I would buy Sapphire vapor or toxic if had the cash, but i don't :/

Allso I was thinkin' about Gigabyte 5830 >>>>>>>> Click here

I was reading the reviews and it turned out it wasn't so loud, but it is 5830 and it will have less performance then 5850 :/

So please help me decide. Here are some links from my shop:

all 5850 >>> http://www.kilobaitas.lt/Ieskoti/CatalogStore.aspx?criteria=5850

all 5830 >>> http://www.kilobaitas.lt/Ieskoti/CatalogStore.aspx?criteria=5830

I am not good with this stuff due to the fact I don't keep up on it unless I am in the market to buy one for myself.

I can tell you though that if you get an ATI Card and its too loud, you can manually set the fan speed in the ATI Catalyst Center app.

If I am running a game or doing something that uses the video card hardcore I will set the manual fan speed up to 70-80% which makes it quite a bit louder but cools its really well.

But if I am just chilling on the net, or sleeping I drop it down to 40-50% and you cannot even hear it one bit.

So I would say if you can find a great deal on a card, but your a little iffy on the fan noise keep the manual speed control in mind. Lower it when you need to think/sleep/chill etc. Then turn it back up to normal or above normal if your doing something Video extensive.

most non reference designs are very quite, i suggest looking at cards if your range and checking reviews for volume. i just find them to also be somewhat quieter but than heat can be issue if its not vented right

edit: i quickly checked and that xfx is sure stock cooler and its going to be loud. also didn't find much inside your range that would keep the volume down, most seemed to be 1000 lt?

theMsI 5770 should be good but than again its the same card you have
