Went in on the $48 co-op expansion bundle with Clay. Two copies of the game and two copies of the expansion for $24 each? Can't beat that.

Intel Core i5 4690K - ASUS Z97-A - EVGA GTX 770 2GB
Mushkin Ridgeback 16GB DDR3-2133 - Samsung 840 EVO 250GB SSD - Seagate 750GB + 2TB - WD 1TB - Cooler Master SPH 1050W
ASUS Xonar Xense + Sennheiser PC-350 Xense Edition + Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 - Sapphire Vapor-X CPU Cooler - Cooler Master HAF XM

I bought in early with the original 75.00 donation and got the alpha/beta access and digital stuff but I think I might do another 50.00 one for the wife and kid(s)

Troy and I considered the CE co-op bundle, which would have granted alpha and beta access, but with PoE and soon T2, we realized there was no real need to play it "early", so just opted for the cheaper approach.

For anyone who paid for alpha access, your day has finally arrived.

I know what you are thinking now: “cut to the chase and give us the release date already”. We expect the Alpha download to go live tomorrow, May 15th. Short notice I know, but we were not screwing around when we said we planned to release it without further delay once we felt it was ready. We debated releasing next Monday to be safe but we know how eager you all are to get your hands on alpha and we are a fly by the seat of our pants kind of studio, so… here we go!

Steam keys for Grim Dawn alpha will appear in your Humble Store pages for Grim Dawn later today and the build will become available to download on Steam tomorrow between 10am and 12pm Eastern Time. To obtain the build, simply retrieve your Steam alpha key from Humble Store and then add it to your game library on Steam using “Add a Game” in the lower left under the game list. From there, select “Activate a Product on Steam” and a box will appear that will let you enter your key. The game will then appear in your library and begin downloading. Once the download is complete, you can install and play.

The folks at Crate Entertainment are sticking to Steam for the alpha, and will offer a refund to anyone who desires it. However, the full game is still going to be available DRM-free, so you have to consider that.

Glad to see development is further along and also that it's already on Steam!

I am waiting still... havent logged in, in a while but it seems to be progressing nicely.... D3 did kinda suck I made it to act II and quit playing.... when it drops to almost nothing I'll get a copy for the wife so she can play and then maybe I'll give it another go...

That being said Torchlight II is much better and WAY cheaper....................

+1 or 2, whichever. Path of Exile is more similar to Diablo 2 than D3 is to its predecessor. PoE is an online game, but it's free-to-play.

New update on Kickstarter as to why there have been some delays. Basically there's been a ton more content added in (alpha was planned to be 2-3 hours, yet some are taking 15 hours to complete), some people they wanted to hire couldn't due to various constraints, animation was reworked, and all sorts of other stuff that just kind of happened.

Basically we're still a few months away from the beta, and then longer still from the actual release. Still, it sounds like a lot of progress is being made, and despite missing the expected launch date, I'm still very eager to get my hands on Grim Dawn.
