bp9801 Report post Posted August 25, 2010 Why not buy it, then!? Because I don't have the money yet. The board will support the X6 series with just a BIOS upgrade right?

CheeseMan42 Report post Posted November 14, 2010 How long have you had the SSD and which controller is in it?
The Smith Report post Posted November 14, 2010 How long have you had the SSD and which controller is in it? The SSD has sat in a drawer for 7 months. It has an Indilix controller. It's a tad slower than SandForce-driven drives, but still very fast. It's TRIM ready and it has a small application that can be run anytime for ensuring it's at its best performance level. RJR Report post Posted November 14, 2010 CheeseMan42, the Torx is a nice SSD, I have one as well, but beware that even when I switch back to a VelociRaptor I start yelling at my computer because it's so much slower than the SSD. Go back to the Torqx and it's like, ahhhhhh that's better.
