They might have to tone down that kill animation.

IGN's E3 Demo Preview (A must read for anyone interested in this game)

The battles, 12-on-12 online matches featuring special forces versus insurgents, are intense and brutal. You die quickly thanks to "faster bullets" as DICE describes it, and a lack of health packs.

...

Medal of Honor seems to be the perfect combination of Call of Duty and Battlefield: Bad Company 2. You no longer have to fight over which game is better, because Medal of Honor offers the best of both. If the full game is as good as the E3 demo, then this may just be the multiplayer game of the year.

MoH's FAQ (Different from the one below)

How do I get in the Beta?

Beta Redemption Keys are available at participating retailers as a reward for pre-ordering Medal of Honor. Once you have a Beta Redemption Key just go to www.medalofhonor.com/beta to redeem it for a code for the platform of your choice.

When does the Beta start?

Officially the Beta starts on June 21st. However players who own Battlefield: Bad Company™ 2* will be able to enter the multiplayer beta even earlier; starting June 17.

What platforms is the Beta available on?

PlayStation3, Xbox 360, and PC.

Weapons:

Insurgents: Rifleman (AK-47), Sniper (SVD), Spec Ops (AKS74U)

Coalition: Rifleman (M16), Sniper (M21), Spec Ops (M4 CQC)

Default weapons: Pistol, Grenade Launcher (oh noez), AT, C4, Knife, and hand grenades/smoke grenades.

Game modes:

Combat Mission is an objective based game mode where Coalition forces are tasked to clear five consecutive objectives and the Insurgents must stop them from progressing.

Team Assault is a Team Deathmatch mode where two sides struggle to reach a preset amount of points to win.

Playable Maps:

Kabul City Ruins and Helmand Valley

Can't wait. Hopefully they do Beta through Steam again. So I can preorder it there :P.

It's more of a combo of things people liked from MW2 and things people liked from BC2. People fight over which game to play MW2 or BC2. Well now there is a game that has both elements and they only need to choose MoH :D. But I'm not gonna lie I really really hope you cannot chain up kill streaks like crazy, cough CoD 4. MW2 kill streaks are a little overboard. Hopefully MoH can put a balance to it where one kill streak isn't going to let you unlock the best one by just chaining them.

This game makes me drool. You start out as a US Army Ranger and as you progress in multiplayer you're soldier becomes higher in status until he becomes a Tier 1 operative. Then you unlock the "beard."

=====================================

Get a Beta Key from participating retailers when you Pre-order Medal of Honor:

EA Store, GameStop, Amazon.com, Impulse, GamersGate, Steam (not on there yet, I've checked), GameTap, and Direct2Drive.

=====================================

This is what the GunClub page looks like when you log in: http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b77/krazyxazn407/Untitled.jpg

Really isn't much you can do. It just tells you what offers you currently have and which requirements you meet/need. So there really no rush to login, unless you already preordered MoH and have BC2 to see if you get early access. You still use your plain old EA login to get into the GunClub page.

VE3D Video for Medal of Honor (PC) - E3 2010 Eleven Minute Multiplayer Gameplay Movie (Enjoy, haven't seen it myself yet either)

Great news is that from the looks of it. The kill streaks aren't overpowered like MW2. Doesn't like there is much kill streak chaining either. Knife animation is fast.

Supply stations on the map. An assortment of attachments for weapons. A cool looking customize weapon menu. Obviously not a Vehicle Combat based game. Didn't see any prone, but I don't really care for it (I've had enough with dolphin diving in BF and CoD). No wall penetration. Selectable ammo types.

No squads it seems, all individual players.

It really doesn't look like they were changing the direction of FPS games away from CoD and BF. It looks like they just combined the two. I'll still probably play it, but I was kind hoping for something else. Story mode is gonna be a nice buying factor to this game, if its anything like those trailers.

=================================

Still really confused on the two different engines. How the hell is the game going to even feel the same in multiplayer and singleplayer?

Don't think that will be a big issue, because when you think about it. I don't play MP like I play a SP, vice-versa.
