lost Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 i work the late shift at a hotel, and it gets pretty boring. i was thinking about getting a refurbished dell studio xps 16 core 2 duo 2400 with radeon 3670 512 MB for like $750. it scored a 4308 rating on 3dmark06. will prob play starcraft 2 on it, and world of warcraft. Locutus Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 My buddy works the night shift at an ISP, he has one of the Alienware M11x's and loves it. It's relatively small but has dedicated graphics, etc.

I have an acer aspire one and it's plenty big for me. And I have huge hands.

lost Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 Lol, no such thing as spending 600 to 700 dollars on a gaming laptop?
OCFreak Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 Yes, you absolutely can ... but is it going to play today's games comfortably? Not likely. Not unless it is a used machine. To get a decent gaming laptop that is fully capable by today's standards I would say that you need be spending around $900+.
