IVIYTH0S Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 http://www.talkandroid.com/2978-htc-evo-maxing-out-at-30fps/ EVO users shouldn't feel too bad, I had choppy playback when watchin a scrubs episode that I converted down to a 700 bitrate I haven't tried since the OC though
Psywar Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 http://www.talkandro...g-out-at-30fps/ I noticed the Evo video is kind of choppy. This is a video I made with my HTC Evo. Now this was not done in 720p (1024x720) This was done with the VGA 640x480 setting. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G031HA4j9O0 I did make a video in 720p over at my job, I did a video for the guys here on the forum for the Subwoofer I installed in the freezer. For some odd reason my upload from my phone to youtube keeps failing though. So one of these times when I remember when I have my phone hooked to the PC I will just upload it manually. The video though I made in 720p is a bit choppy as well, but I was doing some testing and I noticed the video FPS is pretty much based on how good your outside lighting is. The darker it is outside the more choppy while your moving or objects are moving is going to be. While my Freezer has lights, its still a giant box and its not that bright, so while I am walking around in the freezer it is a bit choppy. But anyways I don't know what the FPS on this video was, but for the 640x480 mode I thought it turned out pretty good.
