q9300 problem

I start having problems with q9300 fsb speed. After cold boot (when pc is not turned on over night or it is unplugged from power) it will reset my fsb to stock 333 and lock it up (when I turn on PC it will shut down after 2 - 3 sec and than start again with 333 fsb). I was able to run it on 7,5 x 400 without problesm for +1 year and problem start showing up like two weeks ago or so. Also I already changed battery on motheboard.

 

My PC set up is:

 

-Enermax 550W power supply

-Intel q9300 processor

-GeForce 9800 GTX video card

-Ga EP45 DS4 motherboard

-Geil DDR2 800 MHz RAM

are you on the latest bios? if not, try updating the bios, do take precaution doing that. also, try using just one stick of ram, see what happens. is anything overclocked?

Try resetting defaults and make your changes again!
