Wich is better GTX260 or HD5770?

Hi everyone, i liked to know your opinion on wich is better the nvidia GTX260 or the ATI Radeon HD5770, and wich brand i should buy. (P.S where i live they both cost about the seim)

"Better" depends on what you're going to use it for.

 

If you're going to play DirectX 11 games, get the 5770. If you're going to play DirectX 9 or 10 games, get the GTX 260.

 

The GTX 260 will perform better in most games (you should look up benchmarks for games you play) while the 5770 offers longevity. You will get DirectX 11 support (only matters if you play DX11 games, or plan to in the near future) and crossfire scaling has improved drastically (i.e. add another 5770 later to increase performance).

which is more useful to you? physX/CUDA or dx11/eyefinity?

 

if they are the same price, then just go with what you assum you will benefit from more!

 

with non-high end cards i wouldn't worry too much about brands, stay with what you feel comfortable!

esp. with a 260, its been around enough to have worked out teh kinks!
