1nub Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 (edited) Hey I'm looking to get a new desktop in like 2-3 weeks My budget is in the range of 1500-2000 I was looking for something that I can use to play DX11 and then some photoshop cs5 stuff, I already have two 24" monitor's for the build. Most likely get an SLI or crossfire setup. This is what I have so far i7 930 antec 1200 corsair 750tx intel x25 80gb ssd wd 1tb black hdd samsung lightscribe dvd burner not really sure on what gpu, mobo and ram I should get for this setup, also what cooling would you recommend for it? thanks Edited April 25, 2010 by 1nub
xchrissypoox Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 is your $1500-$2000 budget including what you have or is that just for the mobo, video card and ram?

AddictedGamer93 Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 im assuming those monitors are at 1920 x 1080, so i recommend this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814125323 as for the mobo, i cant really say which one is the best but, id personally use this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16813128422 as far as ram goes, i would get either of these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16820145224 OR this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16820231306 For cooling, i would get this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16835106150

1nub Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 would just one 5870 be good enough for video editing, photoshop, games etc. or should I go with something else and get crossfire or SLI with ?
CowKing Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 depends on your personal preference, but a 5870 should rock anything you throw at it. If your budget is that high i would suggest getting a GTX
joel.monteiro Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 go for the 5870 its a beast better than a gtx
1nub Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 I think this will be what the order will look like most likely? Anything that should be changed or re-looked at?
