brad257 Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 I have been told that my Vcore should be set to 1.22V for my q9450 but i'm confused with ccokeman's review of the intel chip which says he said "3.2GHz on 1.175 volts was a promising start for this chip" I am a noob so can someone please explain to me what this is all about. Waco Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 (edited) Processors of the same model don't necessarily have the same VID (stock vcore). His was lower (it's really just luck) so he was happy to get to that speed without having to increase it. Either that or he was able to lower it and maintain stability (also luck).
