tamble66 Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 Has anyone got a official or un-official overclocking guide for i5 750 4ghz ram on a Dp55kg motherboard with safe values etc?
ebarone Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 Not sure what you mean by "safe values" but theres a number of guides all around the internet. A quick yahoo! search yielded this guide. If you're new to overclocking, its going to take quite a bit of tinkering and testing on your part before you start to really understand whats going on. Its tough to break anything though unless you're extremely careless with your voltage settings, so I would say you should just dive right in and see what happens Good luck, let us know how it goes! GabrielT Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Safe rules, keep an eye on the heat, a little voltage goes a long way, you need an after market CPU cooler if you at all serious about this. The stock one just wont cut it.
