Stonedcold Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 First it's a q9300 on water, 4gb ddr2 800, and a Asus p5n_t deluxe mobo. I sent him my XFX gtx 260 Black edition video card. He had a 4850. He was going to do a upgrade. SO he just put the Win 7 disk in a did something. He has a folder with his old stuff in it. SO I am ASSumming a upgrade. he gets lag in America's Army3 ( and not very good frame rates) and when he moves someone in Teamspeak he lags (As he calls it). I could not find drivers for his mobo, so we went with ones from Nvidia for the 780i chipset. Any clues? Oh we used the latest drivers for the 260...... 00stevo Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 Sounds like you havent properly removed the ATI drivers and they are clashing with the nvidia ones. But if you can,try to be a bit more clear on what your trying to say. Waco Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 (edited) I doubt it's a driver conflict (it's rare to actually get conflicts between ATI and nVidia drivers). Most likely your missing drivers for something or you've changed a setting that you didn't intend to without realizing it. Is he forcing a higher level of antialiasing in the driver or anything? Did you give the system time to index everything (it could be scanning in the background and messing with the game / teamspeak). What about the ethernet drivers? Stonedcold Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 (edited) I am in Texas, he is in Missouri. I can't see what he does or what it's doing. only what it's doing. We decided to try it in XP. Now he gets a error message of the game is unavailable try again at another time. He loaded the Nvidia Chipset drivers from the Nvidia Website.
