brandon640 Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Hey guys, as u all know i recently resolved one of my video card problem, which caused my display to black out when playing games, and i have to restart the PC to get the displa going again. So, i rolled back my drivers to forceware 196.21....and PROBLEM SOLVED. The new 197.45 forceware was launched abt 2 days ago, so i decided to install it....guess what the blacked out display problems came back. PLS HELP ME!! its kinda annoying to remain forever at 196.21 as forcewares increases ure framerates sometimes and also brings stability to certain games. BTW, im using a nvidia 9800GTX+ GPU. Seriously, i really have no idea of what problem am i dealing with, the new 197 serirs drivers doesnt seem to work for me..... get_saif Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Uninstall the graphic card from device manager (Display adapters) , restart and then let the windows detect you card, then install 197.45, see what happens.

get_saif Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Its a process of eliminating factors which might be missed even by a pro geek. And to understand and pin-point your problem by other members. Dont fret over , if you use that, then its well and good for you. hope some one else answers your queries.
