ontoptherock Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 OK, i dont know quite what to do. i just finished putting together my new rig. my very first build and to be honest everything went flawlessly. couldnt have asked for it to go better, that is atleast until after i installed my OS, ubuntu 9.04, it was the only live cd i had lying around. well after i installed it i was not able to access the internet because i didn't have a driver for the LAN. I am using an ASRock 890gx extreme 3 motherboard. i dont know what to do in order to get connected to the internet. the motherboard came with a drivers cd however it is only good for windows. and the same goes for ASRock's website, they only have drivers for windows for download, and the stuff they have on their site is the same as the stuff on the cd i got. if it wasnt for this little hiccup this would have been a perfect build. any help is greatly appreciated.
