please help with phenom ii x3 550

i have unlocked the third core on my phenom ii x2 550

 

and got a coolermaster hyper 212 plus

 

it keeps my proseccor on 3.6 ghz with 1.36 voltage

 

what is the best tweaks to reach 3.9 or 4 ghz

 

my rig is

 

phenom ii x3 550

 

asus m4a 78 e with 790gx

 

2*2 kingstone hyperx 800 ddr2

 

hec 350 w psu

 

 

 

i tried many thengs but i cold not get it stable

 

and what i need to to overclock my ram

If it's stable than obviously not.

a one hour stress test is a good rule of thumb

 

however, it will not show the important errors that will occur when you do things such as play video games

 

you must stress test the computer again when you have the settings you feel should be good

Well it all depends.

 

I generally use the following settings to get to 4.0GHZ

(Phenom2 X4 955)

Results may vary.

 

HT: 2400MHZ

HT-Voltage:1.26V

 

NB:2400MHZ

NB Voltage: 1.20

 

CPU Multiplier:19X

CPU FPB:212

CPU Voltage: 1.55V

 

DRAM Voltage: 1.76V (Yours may vary)

Not at all, You can get to 4ghz. You just have to experiment a bit to get there.
