As you all know by now Verran aka Ryan passed away on Dec 4th from Cancer, which was devestating to say the least. These last few months have been very trying times not only for myself, staff, and OCC but for his family as well. I will not allow Ryan to be forgotten, he was a big part of the success of OCC and he will always be part of us. I am truly thankful for the time he spent with me here at OCC and there has not been a single day that has gone by that I don't miss him. Our staff is like a family and when something happens we all feel it thats how tight we are. As most of you know Ryan loved OCC and he loved this community. Ryan loved seeing contests for the members so what better way to honor Ryan then doing this. Today would have been Ryan's 29th birthday so this is why I picked this day to start it. I want this day at OCC to be always know as Verran's day, doing this contest has helped me with the loss of my friend and I plan on making this a yearly event. B:) So on to the contest: In order to be entered into the contest you will have to do the following: Send an email to [email protected] Subject line will say Verran's Contest In the message box you will include the following: Username Full Name Full Address Phone Number And now here is the important part: I want you to tell me something about Ryan. Tell me what you liked about him. Tell me about your favorite post he made. Tell me about a time he warned you for doing something wrong. I don't care what it is tell me a story about him. If you can't come up with something tell me what you think he meant to OCC. Basically tell me anything about Ryan. If any of this above is not included your email will be deleted. This is only open to the OCC community. ******BIG CONTEST RULE****** In order to be allowed to enter your OCC membership at OCC must be from 2001 - Nov 2 2009 Any member that registered after Nov 2nd will have to wait until next year when I open it up completely. He really seemed a important part of this community though and I can see that he is truly missed. He truly enjoyed helping people and working with them to better understand what OCC is all about. I think I've looked at all of his posts and nobody should have trouble finding something that touches them personnally. Thanks for being Ryan's (and our) friend. Happy birthday Ryan, miss you son!
