Krieg1337 Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 I got these for $50 around 7 months ago.. Shouldn't it get cheaper since its not in demand and DDR3 is better?
JBags Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 No, supply right now is probably equal to its demand, which is lowish, because ddr3 is now mainstream. And manufacturers have pretty much stopped production of ddr2, so it will cost more to produce ddr2 therefore hiking the price. Hedghawg71 Posted March 25, 2010 Posted March 25, 2010 And they ask for your first born too! That ain't no joke. I bought 2 set -2 X 2gb of Kingston HyperX's DDR3 1600's back in September. Like $189 or so walking out the door for both sets. Now it's like $139 for just 1 set on Newegg.
