mattwalter85 Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 hey guys I just recently started overclockin my i5 750 and for some reason cpu-z and core temp show the same into but the EVGA E-leet tuning thing which is basically like cpu-z with their own lil spin on it is showing way diff readings and for some reason the multi keeps changing. is there something in the bios i need to disable on this i5 to make the multi so it stays at 20 or is the E-leet buggy? I just built this rig a few days ago so i'm new to the 1156 socket overclocking so all and any help is much appreciated. BTW I heard about Verran and thats really sad even tho me and him weren't exactly "friends" it still sucks big time, he'll def. be missed. bp9801 Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 Most likely you have C1E and power saving features enabled in the BIOS. You can disable them if you want, but they are designed to automatically ramp up the speed to the set level whenever you start something intensive, like a game. When you're sitting at idle, they'll automatically downclock the CPU to save some power.
