Neural Interface Posted January 15, 2004 Posted January 15, 2004 So thats how the terrorists train, but seriously I seen one that was worse than that, this guy had 9 monitors wide and 3 up = 27 monitors (I think) I have Flight Simulator 2004 and It is very cool looking but very hard to learn, can also be boring flying from New york to Hong Kong like 20 hours, I managed to fly the Wright Brothers plane ablout five time longer than they did
Dignan Posted January 16, 2004 Posted January 16, 2004 That could easily be X-plane as the ability to add that many monitors is way easier then with FS 2004. And yes X-plane and FS 2004 have been approved in instances for ground training with the special setups they use. I want to use x-plane like that, or at least use it for an hour. That joystick setup rocks! I'm suprised he doesn't have a fan going to imitate the open air. It just goes to show, anything that can be done outdoors can be subtituted by a computer.
