Your finger should not be on the trigger or inside of the trigger guard unless you have the barrel of that rifle aimed at something you want to kill.

There are almost NEVER any exceptions to that rule.

How haven't they taught you that?

Beat me to it...

You guys do realize there is no magazine in it, right? Sure, it's not a good idea, but it is pretty clear he at least took the mag out meaning only one round to the face for the innocent bystander :P

Exactly! that's first day weapons training stuff!

Beat me to it...

I was going to argue the fact that it doesn't have a mag in there...but there could be one in the chamber so I fourth this

Ya'll beat me too it. I dont care how empty you think the gun is.. back up a min...

First rule of firearms, THE GUN IS NEVER UNLOADED EVER i dont care how many people have checked it, as far as you are concerend it is ALWAYS LOADED!.

#2. New point a gun at anything you aren't willing to destroy, and NEVER put your finger on the trigger unless you are going to shoot.

I dont care how 'cool' it looks to pose with your finger on the trigger its a bad habit to get into.

Sorry if we seem a bit harsh but really you should already know this stuff.

But haven't you guys noticed the cockroach on the floor?!

Sorry, but couldn't help it with all that seriousness. I'm sure he knows what he's doing. At least to some extend. If he were in the field or something, he probably would be way more careful.

He must really hate concrete floors, and by proximity probably his shin, knee, forearm, shoulder, neck, and/or face. Gotta love shrapnel.

Finger out!!!

Some people are just too uptight.

I recall watching a video where a guy with a bolt-action rifle did a barrel sweep of like 3 people, and that's all that the comments were about.

Not about the huge explosion off in the distance using tannerite or anything like that, which was what the video was about...

And nobody mentioned that the shooter didn't cycle the bolt. And god knows if it even had another round in the mag. Whatever. Everybody's gonna find something to complain about and if it's this kid trying to look cool in a picture then whatever.
