belitsky Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 (edited) The Fourth Kind It was really scary movie, and i doubt that it is totally fake story. Twelve monkeys Children of Heaven This one absolutely not obvious movie, not a high budget movie, it's just kind and beauty story. I think that this one is must see. Night on Earth Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai Spirited Away Brotherhood of the Wolf, as was mentioned before. The Big Blue Krabat The Last Samurai Dreamkeeper Chariots of the Gods I think this is enough for start. WhenKittensATK Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 Ip Man is probably one of the best martial arts movie I've seen. They are working on a sequel to be released this year, according to IMDB. No official trailer has been released for the sequel. I love martial arts movies,is it worth watching if i lke ong bak,the protector, jackie chan etc? it's a Thai film... I'm pretty sure it's the same production crew as Ong Bak etc http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1183252/ the storyline/plot is a LOT better, and in a lot of ways, the fighting is even more impressive also, +1 on Ip Man... I think in terms of technique, it's possibly the best martial arts film ever made? I just remembered another one of my favourites: Fighter In The Wind (Korean)
R1P5AW Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 Inglorious Basterds for sure. -Fight Club, Boondock Saints, Rambo (2009)-I think 400 people are killed before even the title screen... Also I'm a huge fan of The Life Aquatic
