felipe28thc Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 (edited) Hi guys... Some days ago I bought a new monitor (Samsung T240) and it uses a 1920x1200... So I sold my old video card (HD4850 IceQ4) for R$ 300 (US$ 174) And now I need to buy a new video card, but I dont have lots of money... Here are some option for you guys... You decide: XFX HD5770 = R$ 540 (US$ 313) XFX HD4890 = R$ 589 (US$ 342) XFX HD4870 = R$ 479 (US$ 278) I know that they are very expensive... But Brazil sux... Any other ideas, guys? Ty! panjang110 Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 5770 is a good performer too at that resolution, just a few FPS short of 4890 in most games and a DX11 card plus lower power consumption. oh sorry i didn't notice this is your first post, welcome to occ B:)
playa69 Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 For that resolution, I suggest you get the 5770. First its cheaper than the 4890 and it can play directx11. I am using the 5770 and its great for games. ....................................................... IVIYTH0S Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 4890!!!, the 5770 starts to loose it's footing once the horizontal res hits 1920, the 4890 can overclock pretty well too.
Union Of V Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 5770 overclocks better, can run DX11 (which is better optimized), can run more screens (if you don't game).... 4890 is probably the best now, but further down the road I'd pick the 5770.
