Recommended Posts

i know like 10 people who are at various stages of this very same storyboard and they all come to me! :O (i think its because i like messing arround with computers - and probably because i never turn down a friend in need..) Thanks for posting this Clay,

ill just have to start pretending im computer illiterate.. unless its for a... no.. i.. must resist desire to help...

If you start charging, you get less calls. Worked for me, until they actually agreed to pay.

Then I moved across the country - solved many issues.

Wow, so I'm having flashes of every single time I've ever had to do something to my parent's computer. Great comic, way too realistic imo lol.

Same here with the flashbacks. I'm not even working for our IT dept anymore and yet I still get questions at work. Guess I'll never fully escape it.

I've had this happening to me for years, and I don't even work IT... Well... Not yet. The worst part about my habby is when the people expect their old turd of a PC to play all the newest games without having to spend a dime. They just don't understand requirements and they expect me to work miracles. It goes to show you, when you go to polish a turd, it only smears.

I have charged family from the start, if not in cash then in food or booze..

This is only a problem IF you don't do that one simple step..
