Excel formula help please

Thanks for that i knew it started with if, but the thing is im wondering if im looking for something like in webplus 10 where you get 'else' statements. Oh and i tried else and it didnt work!

If I remember correctly...the way the if statements work in excel is ('some condition','what to do if true','what to do if false'). If you want if...else if, then you simply put the else if statement into the third term. Your statement is probably simply going to be ('blah < blah','yes','no' ) or something similar, play around with it and see if you can get what you want to work.

Lol, this was a cinch! It's like I remember in GCSE ICT

 

Funny though, that 8 years later I am learning some seriously complicated Excel functions almost on a daily basis ... there aint nothing you can't do in Excel - I'm the Excel monkey!
