WhenKittensATK Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 (edited) Seeming as Activision had MadCatz make a custom MW2 PC controller along with 360/PS3, the PC version must have controller support. psycho_terror Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 IIRC i usually have problems trying to use a 360 pad with steam games. suppose nobody can say for sure until midnight tonight.
WhenKittensATK Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 (edited) Does it say games for windows on the box? It doesn't need to say Games for Windows to support gamepads. MW2 is not part of the Games for Windows selection. Edited November 9, 2009 by Krazyxazn

00stevo Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 (edited) It doesn't need to say Games for Windows to support gamepads. MW2 is not part of the Games for Windows selection. As far as im aware,if it says GFW on the box,it means it officially supports the 360 controller. If it says GFWL,it means pad support and achievements(which i'll admit i love).Having official support would mean analogue control, which you have to admit is way better than using xpadder. Edit: Remember im talking about the xbox 360 pad,not 3rd party ones. Edited November 9, 2009 by 00stevo
WhenKittensATK Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 (edited) It's a 100% Steam integrated game. So your getting Steam achievements, not Live! achievements. I just assumed all new games supported the 360 controller natively if using a gamepad was an option. 00stevo Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 Steam achievements?
WhenKittensATK Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 For the Steam software. You will need to install MW2 through Steam, whether you buy it online or through a store.
